X-Men come alive
This game has had me worried for many reasons: One all the past X-men games have not been what I would say doing the X-men justice with lame storylines and gameplay.
Reason number two is that most have had few characters for selection and had very limited powers or moves to perform.
This game has finally leaped forward from the old and boring X-men games we had to suffer through.
This game isn't perfect but if you like the X-men will like this game.
Well let's start off with the bad elements of the game. I really did not like the fact that you had to use Iceman or Magma in most levels to constructed bridges.
If you did not your team would simply either walk off the edge to their deaths or wait there until your return.
The game in certain levels forces you to take in ceratin characters. Which kind of makes you build them up more while you seemingly do not need the others.
Some of the characters powers are weaker to others and I did not feel that those characters were need to complete any missions(Beast, Jubliee, and Pysclocke for example).
The boss fights are very cool but lack that certain something. The restantince approach is cool until they have multiple one when you have to figure out(by figure out, I mean die repeatly) which X-men to take into battle.
The Good parts of the game are amazing compared to other X-men games. The storyline is very good, I felt like I was in a comic book. I was hooked on it after a few minutes.
The character's powers and selections is larger than I had expected. The leveling up system has faults in it but does not really affect gameplay.
This is one of the few multi platform games I have played recently that I have beaten and still play.
The storyline has many twists and turns which keep you guessing all the way to the end. I personally recommed this game for any X-man fan to play.
Like I say about all games rent it before you buy it. Reviews are subjective to that persons likes and dislikes.
