What Exactly Am I Doing Wrong?

In the Mournhould Museum of Famed Artifacts there is a book that describes the various treasures you can trade in for cash. One so listed item is the Crescent Blade. It does not appear on the topic list and will not do so for any file I have. Is it just not one of those trade items or is there something wrong with my game? Its in the book...

If you want to know where it can be found then go to tel fyr and find diviath fyr there should be a small chest to the left on a shelf open it and put on the amulate you will then be transported kill the diedra in there and you will be transported back the amulate will be replaced with the cresent blade once completed

Well, I don't know what the problem is, I too have this problem with my game. I think it is just that she doesn't believe it to be the legendary blade, because of the name difference.

It is probably because if you have read the book, the crescent blade is an evil blade, and if she had it, that would be kinda bad:(the gaurds would confiscate it, and destroy it like they did all the other crescent blades.

Well I looked in the chest and I could not find the amulet do I read the book first or what
