You do not actually have to. The problem is not with the book, it's just that that is the only book you have that you havent given him. You just need to find some more books
Yes, there is one way
Go up to the town near the Necropolis, and donate the book at one of the stores, that is the only way to get rid of it.
Well the guy up there ^ I think you mean snowspire and you can not donate the book of spells so there is no way
