^ Not that way. Too complicated, it's very simple, Jack is easy.

When the battle starts, it's nice to have a few mana potions, and a dozen or so health potions.
I also like to have full strength skills, Berserk as high as you can get it, and high accuracy. Also, it's nice to have the Katana from the Silver Key chest in Lady Gray's house, (You have to marry her or frame her for Murder to get to this chest) or the hammer on top of the lighthouse, as well as Arkon's Crossbow from the Silver Key chest in the marsh of Darkwood.

When the battle starts, smash the Melee minions first with Berserk, followed by the magic guys. They're no huge threat, so keep smashing away. When Jack's revealed, activate Berserk and start hitting him. With full strength skills, a high level of Berserk, and the war hammer, this stage should be over in a few hits. Once he begins to float, pull out your crossbow. Circle Jack either way, but DON'T stop moving. The only exception to that is when he begins glowing brightly. When the happens, he's about to release an epic attack, so hide behind one of the rocks when that happens. The circle around him firing fully charged shots at him. Continue hitting him with the crossbow until he's dead.

I used Arkon's crossbow and the multi arow spell and simply shot him tell he died. Then do the same thing with the dragon.
