Here is how to beat blaze with Raiden ( the best Mortal Kombat dude, ever). Since Blaze uses the same moves over and over, just use the static teleport move and use your basic X and Y moves and block after every strike. Then when he is about to hit you, use the static teleport to move behind him and kill him. This also works in Deception against Onaga. Also do not use your staff. It is not quick enough to hit and block and telepport so don't use it. This I found works best with Raiden, but it should work with almost any character that can teleport. What's up. Here is how you can easily win matches with Scorpion, (one of the best characters). OK when the first round starts, press black to do the special knee grapple kick. Then use the flowing water combo and and then take out your sword. Use the forward X attack to push them into the air. Then jump and hit them in the air repeatedly. Do this until you win.
