At any point in the game you can ask your partner for a hint... Sometimes he just goes over stuff you probably already know... But it is useful if you have forgotten something and need to know what is left to do and what locations to search better.

In And Out case: Small hair
On this first investigation go to the cloth on the bed next to the dead woman and use the magnifier. Once you have spotted the hair you can use the tweezers to pick it up.

Garvey Case Sweater thread
To find the thread from the sweater you need to use the magnifier on the iron mod. Scan all the was down the rod with the magnifier and you should come across a thread from a sweater to help you with this case.

Prints And Pauper Case: Pawn Shop
For this case you'll do well to go to the pawn shop, there is something of use to the right of the garbage can on the ground. There is a ring that you do nothing to. Open the onject with the microscope above the ring. Tweeze the hair and take a swab of the stain. Now go back and access the object. Take it, and then talk to Lane Jackson at the pawn shop.
