Weapon Upgrades After Death

After you die in ZombiU your weapons will stay upgraded. If you die before you are able to loot your former-self as a zombie, then the weapons and items that you had will appear in sections of the game that you have previously visited.

If you scan CCTV boxes you can use the safehouse computer to spot loot that has respawned in areas that you have visited previously.

Actually the 1st re-spawn, your old character is a zombie where you left him with all your stuff but the standard gun (which you have with the starting ammo - dose not increase when you upgrade the capacity so if you had more in when you died the rest are lost). If you die again before killing & looting your former self then the loot scatters but as I recall, the unused upgrades don't. You keep them till used.
