	1=Introduction
This guide tells you how to dodge every Final Smash of the game Super Smash Bros Brawl. The guide is made by me, but the game is not, it was made by Nintendo and Hal Laboratories.

A- Normal attack
B- Special attack
R- Shield
Z- Grab
C- Smash

FS- Final Smash
AD- Air dodge(R in the air)
SD- Sidestep dodge(R+down)
MJ- Multi-Jump character(more than 2 jumps, like Meta Knight, Pit, Kirby.)
SJ- Special Jump(up+B)
High five, or Hi5- Really high
UKE- Ukemi (when you press R at the exact moment you hit a wall/ceilling/floor when you get knocked down)

Distance and location

5 feet: one Battlefield platform(the ones we go through by pressing Down)
Middle: the middle of the stage
Out-screen: outside of the screen, where you're in a little circle and take a bit of damage

Here's the represention:

	Name: (character's name)
	Availability: (How to unlock the character)
	Final Smash: (character's Final Smash)
	Description: (Final Smash description)

	How to dodge: (Final Smash evasion explanation)

	Differences between other characters(if there is): (explanation)

	Best Stage to use: (best stage to use the Final Smash) (excludes Melee stages and customs)
	Best stage to dodge: (best stage to dodge the Final Smash) (excludes Melee stages and customs)

So FSE might require the use of the Understage trick.

So there it is. As always, my english is not good, because i'm a canadian and I speak mostly french. This is my second FAQ, so It's not perfect either, okay? Keep in mind this Guide may contain spoilers.

	2=Understage trick

I know what you're thinking. What the hex is the Understage trick? If I'm wrong, that means you already know what is it and you can skip to the next section.

Now, the Understage trick. A useful technique if you master it. The characters that can Understage are:
Pit, Wario, Charizard, Meta Knight, Snake, Lucas, Sonic*, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox*, Peach, Ice Climbers*, Ness, Marth*, Luigi, Falco*, Lucario*, ROB, Jigglypuff, Toon Link and Wolf*.

Those with an asterisk means: depends on the stage

What is it: Jump under the stage and go around.
What can it do: dodge Final Smashes, trick your opponents and impress your buddies

How to use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEroW5mRH5g

Drop down the platform and continue until you reach the fartest you can. Keep jumping and land on the other side of the platform.

	3=Final Smash Evasion

	Name: Mario
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Mario Finale
	Description: Mario shoots two fireballs that spin around and increase in height as they go.

	How to dodge: If there is, jump to the highest platform of the level. When he says his "Oh yeah", jump behind his back. You may have to use your double jump or even your special jump (up-B). Don't fly (Pit, Meta K and Charizard), it's too slow and you'll end up caught in Mario's Final Smash, flying to your doom.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best Stage to use: Final Destination
	Best Stage to dodge: Luigi's Mansion

	Name: Link and Toon Link
	Availability: You unlock the Toon version by playing 400 brawls or beating Classic after beating Subspace Emissary
	Final Smash: Triforce Slash
	Description: A ray comes out of Link's shield then he dashes at light speed towards his target while consecutively hitting his foe

	How to dodge: The short-range ray can "freeze" you if it touches you. Don't get hit or else you're doomed for sure. If it does not hit anybody, Link will dash at light speed until he hit someone with the Triforce, that is if there someone in front. Just make sure you don't get hit by the ray or you don't stay in an horizontal line in front of him. If you get caught and there is a wall in front, perfect chance to UKE! And if you get paralysed, keep pressing R+Down+C-down! You can break free of it with perfect timing!

		Link	Ray (don't touch) Don't stay here Toon Link Or here Or there
		( )								   |				   |
		/|\  -------------->	---------------------------------->	   v				   v
		/ \

	Differences between other characters: Toon Link's ray is longer, but his Triforce Slash is weaker

	Best Stage to use: Final Destination
	Best stage to dodge: 75m

	Name: Kirby
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Cook Kirby
	Description: Kirby becomes a cook Kirby from the Kirby games and everyone gets inside the pot(?).

	How to dodge: Stay REALLY far away from him. If you can't get far enough for certain reasons, AS SOON AS HE USES HIS FINAL SMASH keep SDing until everyone else is fish soup.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best Stage to use: Battlefield's top platform
	Best Stage to dodge: Hanenbow

	Name: Pikachu
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Volt Tackle
	Description: Pikachu transforms in a flying electric ball and flies around like crazy

	How to dodge: Run away from him. If he charges at you, simply jump. Use air dodge(R while airbone) if needed. Keep in mind that he can fly through any kind of platforms, even the ones you cannot fall through by pressing down.

	Differences between other characters: Sonic is the fastest. Yoshi can spit out fireballs and unleashes a fiery breath. Diddy can shoot peanuts. Pikachu is the hardest to control, but he is the only one that can fly through objects.

	Best stage to use: any
	Best stage to dodge: Battlefield

	Name: Fox Mcloud, Falco Lombardi and Wolf O'Donell
	Availability: From start, Play 50 brawls to get Falco or clear 100-man Brawl. To get Wolf, beat Boss Battle as Fox or Falco, or play 450 brawls.
	Final Smash: Landmaster Tank
	Description: A huge tank appears and ride/fly around the stage and shoots out lazer balls

	How to dodge: When the Landmaster falls, run to any edge. Drop down by pressing Down and use your double jump. Hang on to the edge and repeat the operation. Another way to dodge is to stay on the back of the Landmaster and keep jumping. Why? 'Cause you never know when he Barrel rolls, don't you? And if he flies, run!

	Differences between other characters: Falco's Landmaster is weak in firepower, but it's flying abilities are better than Fox's Landmaster, making his an excellent flyer. Wolf's Landmaster excels in both firepower and flying, but the Final Smash time is reduced by half because of it's great power.

	Best stage to use: Final Destination
	Best Stage to dodge: Spear Pillar

	Name: Samus Aran
	Availability: From Start
	Final Smash: Zero Lazer
	Description: Samus shoots a huge Armaggedon beam from her arm cannon

	How to dodge: The same way you used to dodge Mario's FS. As a Flying character, fly toward her and try to stay airbone.

	Differences between other characters: Pokmon Trainer's Triple Finish is larger than Samus', but it's weaker, too.

	Best stage to use: Final Destination
	Best stage to dodge: Pirate Ship

	Name: Luigi
	Availability: Beat classic without using continues. You can also play 22 brawls.
	Final Smash: Negative Zone
	Description: Directly from SmashBrosDOJO!!:

When you trigger Luigis Final Smash, funky world music fades in and the immediate area gets wrapped up in the Negative Zone. Opponents who set foot in the Negative Zone are plagued by a random assortment of effects including:

    * Drastically reduced attack power
    * Greater launch distance when hit
    * Increased likelihood of slipping
    * Steady increase in damage percentage
    * Flower growth on head
    * Dizziness
    * Uncontrollable taunting
    * Sudden sleepiness
    * Decreased movement speed

...And so on.

If you fall asleep or get dizzy here, youll have no way to avoid the inevitable Fire Jump Punch that will seal your fate!!

And that's that.

	How to dodge: Stay away as far as you can from him. If you get caught, try to stay in the air. Even though you can still fall if you enter it while airbone, so try not to be over a hole.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best stage to use: Battlefield
	Best stage to dodge: 75m

	Name: Ness and Lucas
	Availability: Unlock Ness by playing 5 brawls. Lucas is available from the start.
	Final Smash: PK Starstorm
	Description: Fireballs fall down like crazy hitting anyone in their way.

	How to dodge: Use AD and SD while out-screen. Maybe 1 or 2 fireballs will hit you, but you won't take a lot of damage.

	Differences between other characters: Nesss PK Starstorm causes the fireballs to rain down and out in a wide fan-shaped pattern. Lucas' does not.

	Best Stage to use: Any huge stage
	Best stage to dodge: Any small stage

	Name: Meta Knight
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Galaxia Darkness
	Description: Meta Knight hit his opponent with is cape, the field becomes black and WHAMMO!

	How to dodge: Use rolls, SD and AD. If he is right in front of you, roll towards him. It sound stupid and dangerous, trust me, it's better than SD or backward rolls.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best stage to use: Battlefield
	Best stage to dodge: Spear Pillar's second floor

	Name: Donkey Kong
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Konga Beat

	How to dodge: Stay at 50 feets from the CPU and you should be okay. If you're playing against a human player, Stay the fartest possible and keep jumping and using AD.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best Stage to use: Battlefield
	Best stage to dodge: New Pork City

	Name: Diddy Kong
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Rocketbarrel Barrage
	Description: Diddy uses a combination of both his accessories to blast his opponent off the stage

	How to dodge: Dodge it like you use to dodge Pikachu's Volt Tackle. Beware of the peanuts, though. The fun thing is, if he misses you with his peanuts, you can eat them to recover some health! If he shoots like crazy and you manage to dodge 'em all, you can recover, like, 60% damage or so.

	Differences between other characters: Sonic is the fastest. Yoshi can spit out fireballs and unleashes a fiery breath. Diddy can shoot peanuts. Pikachu is the hardest to control, but he is the only one that can fly through objects.

	Best Stage to use: Final Destination
	Best stage to dodge: Any stage with a platform (Hanenbow is not recommended)

	Name: Zelda and Sheik(it's [Schik], not [Shake])
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Light arrow
	Description: Like in the Zelda series, she shoots out the strongest projectile attack of the game that instantly KO's an opponent

	How to dodge: Follow my advice: do NOT use SD or AD. It won't work. Run! Run while you have the chance!

	Differences between other characters: The only difference I see is the direction the opponent(s) flies. Using Sheik, he dosen't fly in a diagonal
way like Zelda's arrow.
								/
					Zelda's opponent--->   /			Sheik's opponent

	Name: Wario
	Availability: From start

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best Stage to use: Battlefield
	Best stage to dodge: New Pork City

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best Stage to use: Bridge of Eldrin
	Best Stage to dodge: New Pork City

	Name: Pokmon Trainer
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Triple Finish
	Description: All three Pokmon unleash Hydro Pump, Solar Beam and Fire Blast

	Best stage to use: Final Destination
	Best stage to dodge: New Pork City

	Name: Captain Douglas Jay Falcon
	Availability: Play 70 brawls or beat classic in normal the fastest you can.
	Final Smash: Blue Falcon
	Description: CP Falcon "summons" the BF and runs over(yes, you heard me) the opponents in the only cinematic FS in the entire game.

	How to dodge: Stay away from him. 20 feets should be enough(Take four Battlefield platforms and stick them together. That's 20 feet.). Use AD and SD if needed.

	Differences between other characters: the only cinematic Final Smash in the game.

	Best stage to use: any
	Best stage to dodge: any

	Name: Actually, I'm not sure if it's Pikmin and Olimar, or Captain Olimar, anyways.
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: End of day
	Description: Players take damage and get blow up if they're in the middle of the stage

	How to dodge: I highly recommend Sonic or any MJ character. First, Stay far from Olimar. When the ship appears, as soon as your damage percentage goes up, jump the higher you can. Sonic's SJ goes high five, so use it to your advantage. Let's get to the point. The higher, the better. As long as you're not in the middle of the stage, everything is going to be ok.

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best stage to use: Bridge of Eldrin
	Best stage to dodge: Hanenbow

	Name: Sonic the Hedgehog

	Description: Uses the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic.

	How to dodge: The same way you used to dodge Pikachu. Note that he is way stronger and faster, but he can't fly through objects. Use this to your advantage.

	Best stage to use: Final Destination
	Best stage to dodge: Hanenbow

	Final Smash: Super Dragon
	Description: Becomes the Super Dragon from Super Mario World

	How to dodge: Jump like crazy. Beware of the fireballs.

	Differences between other characters: Sonic is the fastest. Yoshi can spit out fireballs and unleashes a fiery breath. Diddy can shoot peanuts. Pikachu is the hardest to control, but he is the only one that can fly through objects.

	Best Stage to use: Final Destination
	Best Stage to dodge: Hanenbow

	Name: Zero Suit Samus

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best stage to use: any
	Best stage to dodge: any

	Name: Ike
	Final Smash: Great Aether
	Availability: from start
	Description: Looks like Triforce Slash

	How to dodge: Stay from at least 20 feet from him and keep jumping, running and AD-ing while you have the chance.

	Differences between other characters: Unlike Link, Ike drags the opponents towards the middle of the stage Hi5 and repeatedly strike them. The finishing blow drags the opponents toward the ground and blows up everyone.

	Best stage to use: any
	Best stage to dodge: any

	Name: Marth
	Availability: Play 10 brawls or beat classic
	Final Smash: Critical hit
	Description: Dashes at an insane speed that shreds the power of sound(That's my idea)

	* You don't get hit
	* Marth uses his FS while airbone
	* There is no wall behind you or Marth's target
	* You keep ADing like crazy

If you do that, Marth will dash out-screen and maybe even die! Hooray!

	Differences between other characters: none

	Best stage to use: any with a wall
	Best stage to dodge: Bridge of Eldrin, when the bridge is there

	Name: Pit
	Availability: From start

	Availability: From Start
	Final Smash: Gigabowser
	Description: Tranforms into Gigabowser from SSBM(I guess that's the only FS they could find)

	How to dodge: Hold on to a ledge and drop down. Use your double and special jumps to get back up. Use R to roll and run to the other ledge. Repeat until the FS is over.

	Differences between other characters: Unlike any other transformation of this type, Gigabowser cannot pick up items.

	Best Stage to use: Battlefield
	Best stage to dodge: Final Destination

	Name: Peach
	Availability: From start
	Final Smash: Peach Blossom
	Description: Foes fall asleep and peaches appear

	How to dodge: Like Kirby, stay the fartest possible from her. I think you can even fall asleep while airbone! So watch out!

	4=FAQ

Some people may say: "That guy's a liar! His Final Smash Evasion thing isn't working!" Well, here are the answers to all your problems.

	Q: I can't escape the Negative zone!
	A: Stay as far as you can from Luigi and keep jumping. If you get caught, you'll fall. Use an Ukemi out of the Negative Zone. If you wanna know how to use an Ukemi, go to SmashBros.com under the section How to play-> Techniques-> Quick techniques. Master the Ukemi, and you'll be able to direct it.

	Q: Galaxia Darkness is impossible to dodge!
	A: It's possible. It depends of the stage and the opponent. If playing against a human player on a tiny stage, it's normal. Try to choose huge stages or some that you can easily trick your opponents.

	Q: Holy sharft, Jigglypuff is way too HUGE!
	A: Did I mention not to fight Jiggs on a little stage? Wait, let me see, nope, but now you know it. Before the final blow, use the Understage trick.

	Q: What's up with Ike? His FS is too fast!
	A: Try tricking your opponent using the Understage trick.

	Q: Marth is WAY TOO FAST!
	A: Did you try jumping? I think not.

	Q: Why can't I use Aura Storm on Hanenbow?
	A: Because it would be too easy to dodge.

	Q: How old are you?
	A: 13.

	Q: Will you make another guide?
	A: Well, I'll see what I can do!

This Guide is made by me. If you want to use it somewhere else, contact me first. I did not copy this guide, it was entirely made by me, and i'm the one that found out the Final Smash Evasion trick all by myself. If you post it on another site, i'll be happy if you let me know which site and wait until I let you use it. Thanks to Bizkit047 for the Understage trick!
