Points question - Tennis

Why do I sometimes lose points after I've won a game? I'm assuming I made some stupid mistake or haven't improved according to the standards of the game, but it seems if I won a game, I should gain points. At least in a perfect world..thanks!

The higher your rank is,the better you should be playing.You didn't play that match as good as your rank expect you to.That is also why when you first start you still gain points even if you lose sometimes.

Well this is because you need to beat your record that you have done before so that means you must try to top your best score everytime. I hoped this helped.

The higher the skill level the harder and better you have to play.

When you are a higher rank, you must do better.
Boxing for example, you have to knock them out faster, and each time you get knocked out, you will lose points.

The more skill points you have gained, it's harder to kept gaining more points because you will need kept playing really good, and continue playing like that every match you play.
