Can someone please tell where I get cotton? I have little cotton but I don't know where I got it

You can get a lot of cotton from the second island, once you get to the island go to the cave and go up the steep side, once you are up there there is a lot of stuff you can harvest...including the cotton. I know it's up there because I was just there last night, but my sim wouldn't pick it, he was being a butt. Lol.

You may have gotten it from any chimps you've befriended that have brought you leaf bundles or from another crewmate that has the designated job of gathering items other than food. I believe you can find cotton on the 3rd island, just choose the identify option every time you happen onto a small bush-like plant you haven't already discovered. Either way, if you "summon" the cheat gnome (B,Z,up,down,B) and locate the cute little lawn ornament (he should be plainly visible in each area you go to) you can boost all resources you have to 999 with the Max-Current food and resources cheat(left,right,left,right,A). Note: you must first find the gnome, then enter the cheat and the option "Max" will pop up the next time you are standing in front of the gnome.
