Is this game for gamecube

Is this game coming out for the gamecube? Because if it isn't, it's going to be a rip off for gamecube players beause you can use a gamecube controller. Please answer this question ASAP cause I really need to know.

I forget the name of the site because it was a while ago but it said that nintendo has told them that they are officially going to stop making games for gamecube so they can work on making games for the wii. In other words it's not coming out for gamecube. Also (I think I heard this on super smash bros brawl's website) they said they are going to be making the gamecube controller compatible with it only because the people who were used to playing super smash bros melee with the gamecube controller would still be able to be used to playing with the gamecube controller but be able to play brawl as well and not have to learn how to use a new controller all over again.

I'm 99.9% sure that it is only coming out for the wii. The only reason that you're able to use the gamecube controller is so that people who want to play it like melee can.

Sorry, Brawl is only for the Wii. The gamecube controller is just an extra option for people who are familiar with the Smash Bro's Melee control layout.

Nope super smash bros brawl is only for the wii, now super smash bros melee is for gamecube. (i have a friend how have it)

They kept the Gamecube controller because they were wondering if Wii Remote might not have worked as well as the controller in Melee. Unfortunately, for all Gamecube players, it didn't come out for Gamecube, only for Wii (yes I'm writing this past the release date).

No it's not coming out for the Nintendo Gamecube. The reason they did this was because in case the Nintendo wii's controllers didn't work well with it they had a back up plan.

It's only coming out for the Nintendo Wii.
But you can use the GC controller on the Wii for Brawl.
