Final Smash- how?

Hi! I just bought the game, and I don't know how to do final smash. Anyone who knows?
<BR>Is it true that you have to get final smash trophies, because I've heard people saying that. If so, where do you get them?

ANSWERS

To do a final smash, you have to be standing on the ground for most characters. Then, you hit your special attack button (the one that makes Mario shoot a fireball) while facing your enemy, preferably very close to them.

Do to a "final smash" you need to obtain the smash ball. It floats around the stage and you need to hit it until it breaks. Once it breaks, your character will start glowing, while your character is glowing, you can press B (the special move button) at anytime to use it.

And for the answer to your second question, you need to beat all star to get a character's final smash trophy (meaning if you beat all star with mario you get his final smash trophy). To unlock all star you haveto unlock every character.

All you have to do is turn on Smash Balls (glowing multicoloured balls with the Super Smash Bros emblem on them). They float around the stage so you have to get them before your opponents do. Just beat the ball like a pinata till it breaks. When it does, hit the B button on it's own and you will start the Final Smash. You can be in the air or on the ground so it doesn't matter

If you are playing solo mode then a smash ball won't appear.It only appears in vs. mode.To play vs.mode with one player you simply press a on the upper-left corner of 3 of the 4 player boxes(you don't need to do the first one because that's yours)and once the little dash in each box says CPU you're ready!

During a battle when a smash ball appears you need to attack it until it breaks and press the special move button(b-button for gamecube controllers).Some final smashes depend on where your character is.

Alright to do a final Smash you have to wait for a rainbow colored ball with the smash bros. Symbol that looks just like this

except smaller. Then simply press B. You don't have to be standing on the ground for most characters or anything like that all you have to do is press b. You don't need any Smash Trophies or anything.I think the only character you have to be standing on the ground for is bowser but you might be able to be in the air for him too.

To do a final smash you should see a final smash ball that is rainbow then if you punch it a couple of tims yyou should have the final smash

To use a final smash, obtain the Smash Ball (A ball that flies around the stage, changing colors) and press B
