Is it really that good?

I recently got a Wii, and I was thinking about getting this game. I have SSBMelee and SSB Original for GC and N64. They're both great, but is this one really as great as everyone says? Can you give me some pros cons, compare it to the others, etc.?

This game is incredibly awesome itself. Unlike Melee, and the original, it has Wi-Fi capabilities, more playable characters, stages, trophies, and a new adventure mode which is really long. Some of the let downs are the laggy Wi-Fi, bit slower characters, and of course, the Smash Ball which is an advantage item which can also be considered a cheap way to win. Overall, this game is fantastic, but it's your choice. You can get it, or you don't have to. Hope this helps you out.

Much faster and action packed than either of the first games. I would say that it's by far the best game on the wii. The computer AI is much better if you want to play alone, and the online is good, but works much better against a friend than against a random person. If your best character is Link, be forewarned that he plays very differently than he did in Melee and you might even have to find a new character. There are lots of levels and you can even make your own. I would say that it's a msut have if you're a ssb fan. Only real downside is that Pikachu is insanely cheap in this game. All other characters are very well balanced but Pikachu is much stronger, especially the down B.
