Sonic?
I beat subspace emmisianary and got sonic at tabuu. My friend got the game today. He randomly used a hammer on the mission unlock sonic and get green greens he battled on green greens once and it said new challenger approaching it was sonic he won and got sonic. No cheats, hacks, or action replay I was there is it possible?

Yes because I got sonic by playing only 100 brawls.and the way I got him was playing at jungle japes 2 times and at the end of the match the new challenger turned out to be sonic

That is a true statement. I got Sonic after beating Tabuu and going back to the Adventure mode map. I would've played 300 brawls(That is how much brawls you need to fight him),or just playing Classic with 10 characters.
The thing is,you get Green Hill Zone as soon you unlock Sonic. Your friend must have been real lucky.
