Beat My Brother

My brother and I play this game very competitivley, and he loves to be guys with swords (link, meta night, marth, ike.) I personally am good with ike, diddy kong, bowser, samus, and ness. Who is good for beating sword-wielders?

If you are equally good with all of them, I would take a character with a lot of range attacks like samus or ness. However, I would tend to base my character selection on the speed and range of the opponent. If he takes a slow character, take a fast or moderate speed one like Falco, Fox, Toon Link, Sheik, etc. If he takes someone with a lot of missile attacks (example Samus' blast and missile, Sheik's knives, Falco's gun), take someone who can deflect (Fox, Falco, Wolf shield) or repel (Mario cape, Zelda shield).

You could use ness, sumes, or ike. BUT if you challenge link, I will think you should use ike,ness, or bowser. Hope it helps.

I think you should use ness, samus, or the Star Fox characters. They are all quick and have great long ranged moves. I would use Falco.

For Sword-Beating guys, get a guy with supernatural powers, such as a Pokemon or Earthbound characters. Those guys are stronger than sword people damage giving wise and are more likely to kill them. Guys with guns, such as Samus or Fox, are kind of in the middle, so don't choose them if you want to beat a guy with a sword.

I'd stick with snake and plant motion sensing bombs.he also has alot oflong range attacks and good melee moves(although the are limited)

Use kirby and inhale him and bring him down the stage and bounce on him and fly up while he flies works most of the time or be any character that you now best of

Use kirby.with kurby his most power full move is when he uses his sward as he jumps in the air.do do this press up on you controller and then press b while you stil air born make sure you as close to you target as possible.his punch it really effective to. Pit is also really good for sward fight I beat my brother all the time with pitt and he alway picks one the character your brother uses my brother tends to use those characters alot to. You have more of and advantage with pit because he can fly and when your opponent jumps if you get pit right under the him he swings his sward like a propeller and if you do it long enough he can take up to 20 points off the opponents life.Also when you press b when your on the ground press it rappidly that way your opponent will be stuck thier for about a minut before his sheild works

I`d say Lucario his aura gives him good range and his counter can help you get past there`s plus since swords do good damage even if you`re hit you`ll end up getting stronger anyway and I think range increases.

I'd say kirby. If you have 2 lives and the opponent has 1,inhale you're enemy and commit suicide by jumping off the stage before he escapes.Or you can keep inhaling them for damage.

If it's ike, use sonic. I did it. Note that you have to have had some practice with sonic. For meta knight choose captain falcon also again you need practice with him. For marth, KEEP HIM AWAY FROM A SMASH BALL. If marth gets one, you have to sidestep at exactly the right moment. For Link/Toon Link I would again choose sonic because he's fast and can avoid some attacks like the boomerang tornado thing just by running because if you jump and land on the boomerang while it's returning it can carry you right back to link/toon link and if they jump away(I don't know if this'll happen to you)I got carried off the edge and KOed and if he catches boomerang, in the second you are falling he can get a combo on you and juggle u. I can also tell you that sonic's up b makes him go very high so that can also dodge the boomerang tornado.

Use any character you want. Just repeet your specail move over and over use bowser and do your side special at close rage.

Use dedede and go on shadow moses island. If he has anyone heavier than marth,lure him to a wall and grab him. IT ONLY WORKS IF YOUR FACING THE WALL!!!! Throw him down and he should bounce into the wall. Keep on doing this until he has very high damage and finish him wath an up throw. Ka-ching! The winner is... King dedede!
