Play alot of brawls ( about 300 ), or beat the S.S.E. In easy all the way through.

Okay although I did the subspace emmisary on easy, I would say it's easier and quicker to do 300 brawls. Yeah normally it would take ages but just set the rules to stalk and one life each. Then chose a character like kirby who can do a move to make them fall really fast. Sure your records are going to suck but you will unlock sonic, and isn't that what you really want?

The easyist way to get sonic on my opinion is beat sse mode, then you should get him, he is a pretty good charicter to, anyways hope this info helped.

Either beat SSE mode(i didn't do this way)
Or play 300 vs matches
