2-1 HITTING INVISIBLE SWITCH!! HELLPPPPPPPPPPP!

OK, I'M ON HOUR 2 OF TRYING TO HIT THIS DARN SWITCH. I'm at the part where you go down the green tube and you find the blue invisible switch where it's suppose to release another tube. I have in 3d mode, 2d mode done every possible jump, jump with a throw, I've tried both players, but the switch isn't being activated. I would SO appreciate any advice on what I'm doing wrong. Thanks everyone.

I would say look at one of the walkthoughs. They tell you every thing

You might have to use the flash light thing by thrusting the WII remote a little downward and then when it turns into a lighted area ( like when you are looking for things) you should see the circle turn red.. When it does make sure to hit the A button and sometimes the Pixl will light it up for you.

The solution to your problem is simple: use tippi to look around, you should see the block. Click on the block to make it visible, then hit it. I am pretty sure this will work, but I am not positive as to what you are asking about. I hope I have helped,
