Question for Super Mario Galaxy 2

I have 240 stars but I can not get the extra world to open up. Of the 240 stars, I have 120 gold stars, 118 green stars and 2 bronze stars. Do I need to have all gold and green stars for it to open up? I tried beating the last bowser again like I had to for the green stars to show up, what do I do. I am so close to finishing. I do know that star 242 is the perfect run and I need to deposit 9999 star bits for that, I just can not figure out how to get the world to open to get star 241??? HELP!!



Comment:(Jun 15 2011) I was wrong, I have 118 gold stars, 2 bronze stars, and 120 green stars! Do I need to have all gold and green only to move on?

To unlock the secret world, (I will not spoil the name for you) you must reach your 2 bronze stars by yourself.

I did go in and receive two gold stars on my own for the bronze stars I had. That did the trick. Now, I have no idea how I am going to get 242 stars, becuase I am having such a hard time with 241. Practice, practice.

Yes I think you need 120 gold stars and 120 green stars try it and write if it doesnt work
