Argh! Theres this golem I have to beat in green ruins but no matter what..

Try to avoid his attacks as much as possible especially when he shoots his hands at you. Your best bet for a weapon would probably be the aqua wand or water what ever it was called. Just keep using the special attack and have plenty of food and healing potions on you.

How you meet Iris would be waiting until Rosetta opens Materia and then talking to her until she mentions Moon drop flowers. Then buy some moon drops, go to whale island at 6PM,(which you get to by watering the plant in front of the clock tower.) go through the island until you reach whale island fin. After that you will find a tower. It will play a cut scene(maybe) then plant the flowers. Water them everyday until they bloom. Wait until a floating ball of light appears above the moon drops before you harvest them. After you harvest them. At 6pm you should be able to meet iris Blanche. You encounter a person named brodik and he is a jerk to you and then if you go to his house in the morning and wait for the mail women and find out about the golem magizen then as the year progresses you go down there in the green ruins and encounter the golem and you best tool would be to have a pet with you and 6 super health potions and use a watering can and water weapons like the ice hammer.
