Date of Question: Jul 12 2008 | Question ID: 123478 All I wanted to know is if I had to beat the game before the handcannon was available for purchase from the merchant. I already got five stars on every level in mercenaries with everyone and it said I unlocked it but it's just not it the buy catagory with the merchant HELP!!!!!! |

To purchase the Handcannon, it has to be done in a freshly started cleared game file, so I don't think it will appear half way through a game after you unlock.
So, either start a new cleared game, or finish your current cleared game file and then play on it again after you beat Saddler.

You can only purchase unlockable weapons on 2nd+ Round games. If you started a new game in any mode, you will NOT be allowed to purchase unlockables. If you are in the middle of a 2nd+ Round game, you SHOULD be able to purchase them.
The Handcannon itself is free, but, unless you spend 790,000ptas, it won't be worth using.
