Date of Question: Dec 26 2007 | Question ID: 104036 Does anyone know a good way to conserve, or easily get, ammo? I continuously run out of ammo at the village opening. |
To conserve ammo don't get the shotgun until the bell rings.
If you get the shotgun before the bell rings the chainsaw guy comes and you waste all your ammo on him.
So if you don't get the shotgun the chainsaw guy wont come

Also, if you see boxes, cut them with your knife, not your gun. And use your knife to kill some enemies.

What I like to do is put a bullet in the enemies knee caps so they kneel down, stunned. This leaves you open for a kick to the face. Once that's been done, they will be on the ground for a few seconds. Start knifing the crap out of them and they should die. This is a good way to save ammo throughout the game. I'v beat the game many many times and I'v always noticed that you tend to get really dry on ammo after fighting Vertigo, Salaszar's right hand man in the sewers.

Vertigo Is Pretty Easy Actually. Just Get A Rocket Launcher Before The Fight, Then When He Comes, Freeze Him By Knocking Down A Freezy Tank Thingy, Then Blast Him. Sometimes Hes Still Alive, So Shoot Him With The Broken Butterfly. P.S. This Is The Normal Mode Way. For The Pro Mode You Need To
Make Sure You Have The Special Suit 2 On, And Do It All Over Again.
P.S.S. Sometimes You Run Out Of B.B. Bullets, So If So, Shoot Him With A Rifle While Hes Frozen. Rifle Is The Strongest (Maybe) But Slowest.
