Could some one please tell me if this game is worth spending money on? I have not decided yet if I want to buy it or not and how many new Pokemon are there?

If you like battling you should get this game. As for new Pok�mon, there are none! Only a new generation Pok�mon game has new Pok�mon in them, not counting cameos of preview Pok�mon. New generation as in: Red & Blue (1st gen.), Gold & Silver (2nd gen.), Ruby & Sapphire (3rd gen.), and Diamond & Pearl (4th gen.) type games.
