To kill it you have to turn on the lumos and then press what ever you used to start it with, or if that does not work then, press the thing that you shoot with. ( trust me, I know, I have completed it 4 times already, IN 2 DAYS! )

You need to build a cart and drive it through the barrier, then go at it with lumos

Zap the snare along the windows and bits will fall which you can use to build a trolley (switch to use leviosa) Get on and ride through the barrier then use Lumos to kill the remaining snare.
