Question for Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility

Twice now I have saved my game and when I return it takes me back to the beginning. How do I save a game. In the instructions it says to go to the diary and save the game and I have been. I wasted 4 hours of time now going back to the same thing. It won't let me save it. PLEASE HELP. Things shouldn't be this difficult. It is supposed to be fun and so far it is very frustrating.

Oh this is the same question lol well go to the diary and save the game remember to overwrite your data everytime, if not it will be like you didnt save the game in the first place.
