Date of Question: Oct 18 2008 | Question ID: 131338 I know I have to find someone to get the fishing rod from, I'm not sure what areas I'm suppose to be looking in though.. I have the home near the hotspring so I often check around there.

You get the fishing rod from Toby, who you meet on the beach near On the Hook, South of town. Toby is a potential husband too. Your rival for Toby is the Brownie Ranch girl.(Sorry, I forgot her name.) I don't know what he likes because I am marring Owen, but you can look on the Walkthroughs. The Girl who purifies gems, I think is the little girl, Chloe, who lives at the blacksmiths. She spends most of her day in the mine thoug so you have to talk to her in the morning between 8AM-about 10:30-11:30AM

The girl who purifies the gem is not Chloe. I think her name is Mira. You must trigger an event in graveyard in Maple Lake to make her work again in blacksmith's.
