To create the first rainbow, Daren, you need a baked yam(you can buy it from Maya at the summer flea market), carp(fish from river in spring/summer it's pretty common), perfect herb fish(cook an eel and herb in an oven it can be any fish but an eel worked for me), common shell(find on the beach), and an apple( buy from simon at the summer flea market or grow on your farm). Then water the green flower at Waffle Town square.

That answer is right, I just wanted to add one thing, to water the flower you have to hit A when it says check.
