I think you should just level up Ike as high as possible, and then get the best, lightest sword you can get (create-a-weapon thing), and there you go!

The best lightest sword?!?!? NO! Use Ragnell
It gives a lot of damage and can strike from afar.
Also, put Ike on a pillar. If he is at least level 15 or higher, his attack will do more damage than the Black Knight's attacks.
Just as a precaution, though, have Ike have at least a couple Vulneraries and one concoction or elixir.

Give ike a hammer, leave him where he starts, make sure he has 34 speed or higher and keep nihil on him or hes doomed. You might wanna give him a elxir and a few vulneraries and an iron sword if you wanna get the wishblade
