Teams
In the character select, you can make teams and get bonuses. When you put the team together you will be told the name and shown what you get for it. I will list some that I know of. If there are more than four, then that means that you can switch out some of them for of the others in the list.

You pick any four of the five females

This is probably not all of the teams but it you just experiment you will probably find more. It also helps to know the comics and cartoons. I have not found a team that has less than four people and I am pretty sure that they all need four people.
