Special Powers:
Every character in Temple Run 2 has a special power. This is an ability that are you able to activate during one of your runs to give you an advantage. There are three unlockable characters in the game and, once you have unlocked each character, you can swap their powers around to give you a boost in game. Below is what each of the characters unlocks for you:

Barry Bones: Unlocks Coin Bonus
Karma Lee: Unlocks Score Bonus
