Introduction

Another year, another WWE wrestling game, exactly like Formula 1, basket or soccer games. The 2006 version of the game was undoubtedly good, some terrible bugs apart, but this year THQ done literally a masterpiece, one of the best wrestling game in the entire story of videogames! Please keep reading for knowing more.

Graphics

This time they made a great work, because the superstars are superb and well modelled. Same thing for the arenas, more detailed and with the new interactions point, allowing you to choke your opponent on the ropes, or launch him in the crowd.
A good point is the new �create an Entrance� system, that allow you to watch entrance results the same time you are creating. A good advance since the last year. All the stars intro are also well done, but everything has a price: a long loading time, perhaps too long. And this is the one and only complaint I can move to this game.

Sound

In the previous game, the soun was almost perfect, so for the 2007 edition. You will find all the original entrances, and some good background music (but not in the ring).
Commentaries are also added, the only bad thing, exactly the previous game, is to hear the same words and phrases from the commentaries table. Hearing the same phrase every time you perform that finisher move... You can understand by yourself: it's not exactly exciting.

Gameplay

For the new version a new control system has been added, with the new fast grabs and the interaction points. That's a good thing: now you can choke your opponent on the ropes, or crash his head with the ring stairs. A new serie of countergrabs complete the enviroment. In addition, hits landed by lighter superstars will no more cause big troubles to biggest and heavvyest opponents (like in reality).
There are less challenges like the last year, but they are thougher, I advise you.

Lastability

Like all fighting games, alone is quite interesting, but with friends it's absolutely fantastic. You will require some time to get used to the new features and grab sYstem. But even alone, the long and interesting season and the hard challenges will provide you a long time of fun, no doubt about it.

Overall

This is one of the best Wrestling games I have ever played in my life, and I can advise you to buy it wihout esitation. It's well done, and without all the horrible bugs that lowered the 2006 version of the game. This game is long, Hard, various and fun, and you can't ask for something better. The only bad thing you can say, it's the absence of the features available only for X360. But, after all, a simple PS2 has it's limits, maybe the next year, with the PS3 version, will be perfect.
