When Nintendo announced that it was making a new Pokemon game, a lot of questions were generated. Is it going to be good? What platform will it be on? Will they make new pokemon? Well, with the release of Pokemon Diamond, all these questions were answered. In my opion, yes it is good! It's for the DS, and finaly, yes! Nintendo has include another 106 Pokemon in this new game.

The graphics on this game aren't that bad. They're not as good as some of the X-box games but for the Nintendo DS, they definately cut the mustard. Compared to the previus Pokemon games, the characters and land marks look alot bigger on screen and the Pokemon look at lot more animated.

Pokemon features a really nice soundtrack of good music. They have kept some of the old battle tunes but they have made some new ones as well. The composer of the score, obviously went to alot of trouble and put alot of time and effort in to composing the songs. But, because it is on the Nintendo DS, the sound quality isn't the best.

The gameplay is the best bit. Like all Pokemon fans, the way the battle works is mostly the same except players now have the option to use the touch screen to select their battle option. The Pokemon characters like in Crystal and Emerald are animated and they move when sent out of their pokeball.

This game last for ages!!! Trust me. Even once you've completed the regular game play, you've got 493 Pokemon to catch not to mention the numerous battles you can have with your friends across the internet. You can even transfer your Pokemon from previous games to your Diamond/Pearl Cartridge.

Overall I'd rate this a 9 out of ten. Why? Because it's an awesome game and I think that everyone should give Nintendo a pat on the back for the creation of such a wonderful game. And with making it wifi compatible, the insured that when you buy this game, your money's not going to go to waste.

Final Score: 92%
