Introduction

This game is very good. Is has an awesome battle system, fairly good sound, and somewhat good graphic quality. There's tons of stuff to do, although at some times the story can be confusing. And the dungeons (mainly the sewers) are even more confusing. Most boss battles are somewhat hard, but are easily passable with few level ups. Level ups are really good because you gain like 50-90 max hit points with one level, so it's easily attainable. The only major turn off of this game is that your second ally can not attack until a certain point in the game (which I haven't yet reached). However it's a credit to the RPG revolution and shouldn't be passed.

Graphics

The graphics aren't exactly great, but they are good enough that you want to keep playing. Probably the worst graphics are as follows.
1: After you use magic. If you use magic and you win the battle, the person who talks will have their voice delayed, but their mouths will still be moving.
2: Lang's (or whatever you name him) Origin while using magic. Galea has poor graphic quality, which is something that dissapoints me. However, I'm sure many will agree when I say that the six packs in this game look much better than the ones in Final Fantasy XII.

Sound

The sound is about the same as the graphics. Not great, not sucky. They're good enough for the ps2, but could be better. You can hear what's going on, but not as good as you would think it was. However, the game came out in 2003 so you really can't expect a whole lot. But the sound is actually pretty good cinsidering it's time of release. Not quite up to this generation, but better than the sound of it's current time. But, that's just how I see it. Many will see it differently, and if that's the case, then let them write their own review.

Gameplay

I give gameplay a 9 because of it's awesome battle system which allows you to choose your attack pattern. What is meant by this is that you're given a certain number of attacks per turn, and you can choose what kind of attack to do. For example, if you have 3 attack slots, you can do left right left, up down left, or anything like that. It's not a 10 though because some of the dungeons (mainly the sewer) is a major pain trying to get through. That is why this games gameplay deserves a 9, and not a 10.

Lastability

This game's lastability is fairly long. I say this because it takes a long time to get where your going. Especially when you're lost in the dungeons. (I once again bring up the sewers.) However, if you know how to get through these dungeons I doubt the game would take too long to get through. I don't know of course because I for one am still stuck in the sewers. Mind you I've only played the game for about 11 hours, but it's still quite an annoyance being stuck in the sewers so long. That's why this games lastability deserves an 8 out of 10.

Overall

Overall, this is a great game that I will continue to play for many years. Even after I complete it, I will probably go back and play it more times just to see how fast I can do it, and if I can dsicover more about the game then I already know. It's a great RPG and shouldn't be passed by by anyone who enjoys RPG's. As I said in the intro, it's a credit to the RPG revolution. I hope many people enjoy it as much as I do, and I enjoy it a lot. Thank you very much for reading my review of Legaia 2: Duel Saga. (it actualy is duel saga, someone messed up somewhere along the lines)
