Fallout 3 is one of those games that is at the top of the list of greatness. It has a lot of good things about it and the only game that might top this is Oblivion. Some people think that Fallout 3 is just Oblivion with guns, but Fallout 3 is far more greater than that.
Fallout 3's graphics are , simply put, amazing. The graphics aren't as good as Oblivion's maybe but they still are good. Bethesda did a good job making a post-nuclear landscape. If we had a nuclear war, I would think it would look like Fallout 3. The graphics of the characters are also pretty good, and the mutated creatures are too. Overall Fallout 3 looks like a post-nuclear landscape.
Fallout 3's gunshots sound like gunshots and they're very realistic. Even the custom-made Railway Rifle makes a train whistle when you shoot it. The characters voices are pretty well done too, along with the super mutants and feral ghouls. The many sounds of Fallout 3 are very good.
Fallout 3's gameplay is awesome, but the only problem are the glitches. Freezing is one that happens at least once, and so are those weird triangles. You could be walking and a blurry triangle will fill up the screen. Other than that, Fallout 3 has some very good gameplay. There are soo many decisions that will alter the games ending. You could sit and play for hours without stopping.
The only reason I give Fallout 3 a 9 out of 10 on lastability is because you can't keep on playing after you've beaten the main storyline. But even if you ignore the main storyline and just keep on doing random quests, Fallout 3 will still take you quite some time to explore.
Fallout 3 is probably one of those games that you will always be able to play. Fallout 3 is super fun and super addictive and you will not be able to put the controller down until you finish the main storyline. Overall, Fallout 3 is a must have for any RPG or action lover.
