Final fantasy VII:Crisis core is the prequel to some people of the greatest RPG known to man final fantasy VII,so obviously the attention this game is going to get is nearly impossible to imagine.
In this review I will basically try to explain the story and tell yuo whether or not this game is a rental or a definate buy
Main storyline involves you zack
A 2nd class soldier member who's dream is to become a 1st class soldier and also become a hero.Throughout the game he does prove that deserves to have those titles but in the end some might say he came a little short...
Best graphics on the psp.
Thats all you can really say about the game the scenery is just awesome and cut scenes will just amaze you.One problem though with the cut scenes in this game are that you can't skip them,so if you die on a boss fight you have to watch that whole scene again.
The sounds from the game are very similar to Final fantasy VII,so that itself should be good enough. One problem with this game is that alot of the American voice actors did horrible job with there characters.Particularly Cloud
Gameplay is very similar to kingdom hearts in which you will have an attack button on screen along with magic, items and other equipment you may have equipped with you
One new thing they added is the DMV,which takes the place of leveling up your character. How does this work?well let me try to explain it
The DMW is the spinning roulette wheel at the top left, which randomly determines when special attacks and summons occur, as well as not-so-randomly determining when you level up. As the game progresses and you discover new summons and special attacks.
About time the psp gets a good game that all I can really say.if you are wondering how long it will take to beat this game I say about 12-15 hours. An additional 10 hours if you partake in side missions.
Crisis core is not a game to dissapoint with the new battle system, awesome cut scenes, and magnificent storyline. This could easily get a 10 out of 10,but I feel some minor flaws in the DMV and gameplay take it down just a little
