From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
The Ripper is probably the most overpowered weapon in the entire game as it can take out multiple enemies with just one shot, and the ammo is plentiful throughout the game. Simply master the weapon and use it to first sever the legs on most enemies, and slice the arms once they're down. Shouldn't take all that long to kill off 30 of the Necromorphs.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
Zero-G areas are only navigatable by either walking along the walls or jumping from one surface to the next. If you wish to get this trophy as soon as possibly, simply clear an area of all Necromorphs and jump from one surface to another repeatedly. Be weary of obstacles floating through the space though. They can prove deadly.
All Systems Go Complete Chapter 3 on any difficulty setting.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
Chapter 3 is also known as Course Correction in this Dead Space game. Simply complete it on any difficulty to unlock the trophy. For ease, it is highly suggested you complete this chapter on the easiest difficulty setting there is. That will tend to give results the fastest. The only trick to this is to pace your shots, don't waste ammo, and go slow. You rush, and you have a good chance of getting your head lopped off by an enemy, as they have a bad tendency to pop out of nowhere at the worst of times.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
Your Kinesis Module is obtained in the second chapter of the game. Simply aim and use the Kinesis button to activate it. This can be used to pick up small objects, and even some dead bodies. It also seconds as an unlimited weapon, granted there are things around to shoot at your enemies. If you want this trophy, simply shoot objects through the air 50 times. Doesn't really matter if it's at at enemy or not.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
The Pulse Rifle is the only automatic weapon that was actually intended to be a weapon rather than a mining tool. Simply fire at the limbs with this weapon a few times and it should completely kill an enemy. Do this 30 times and the trophy is yours.

From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
This will probably take two playthroughs to complete. Simply enter a store with credits, and spend it on anything you want. Nodes, Items, Rigs, Weapons - Doesn't matter. As long as 200,000 of your credits go towards something, it counts towards the trophy. Keep in mind that enemies generally drop close to 1,000 credits when you kill them.
Brawler Kill at least 30 enemies with a melee attack.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
This will probably be a fairly hard achievement to obtain, seeing as you just about can't use one of the cheap melee attacks in this game without taking damage yourself from the enemy's attack. Your best bet is probably going to be using stasis on the enemy, then quickly swinging at it before it can wear off. Bring plenty of health packs along, because it's almost guaranteed that you will get hurt.

Crackshot Achieve a perfect score in the Shooting Gallery.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
The Shooting Gallery can be found on the USM Valor in Chapter 9. Roughly halfway through the chapter, you will come across a small desk with what looks to be a shooting range nearby. Pull out your Pulse Rifle and start shooting as the game tells you to. Don't worry, you have unlimited ammo. Just be sure to hit all of the blue targets, but none of the red. Complete all the rounds and the trophy is yours.

From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
The Line Gun is a weapon that fires a broad band of plasma energy at enemies. It has limited ammo, and the ammo is hard to find, but it does a lot of damage. My suggestion would be to run around and round up all your enemies into a small group before shooting at them. Once they're all together, shoot one round at them to kill off a good number of them in one shot. Bear in mind that every time the line round hits something, its damaging power is drastically reduced.

From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
This one can be a bit time consuming. To use stasis, you'll need to aim at an enemy first. You really only have about four stasis shots at any given time, so this will take several recharges from a station or a stasis pack in your inventory. Just hit them, kill them, and move onto the next until you rack up 50 stasis hits.
Full Contact Kill 30 enemies with the Contact Beam.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
Be aware that this might actually be a somewhat hard task. The Contact Beam takes one full second to charge up, so you might want to put some distance between you and your enemy before trying to hit it. The upside is, since the Contact Beam is the strongest weapon in the game, it doesn't really matter where you hit the enemy, it will most likely kill them.

Live With The Hot Ones Kill 30 enemies with the Flamethrower.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
You might have a slight bit of trouble with this trophy. The Flamethrower is a bit of an odd weapon, as to kill anything, it most likely involves you running from the enemy. You'll first need to spray an enemy down with fire, then run. While you run and it attempts to chase, that fire will eat away at it and eventually kill it. Do this with 30 different Necromorphs and you will get the trophy.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
A very easy trophy to get. The whole point of the game's combat system is to cut the limbs off your enemies with any weapons you can find. Simply do this to 20 limbs and it should work well. Seeing as most enemies need to lose 2 to 3 limbs to die, it could be completed by the end of the first chapter.
From CRAZY CHEATS | Jan 6th 2011
Go for the Legs first, and then arms and you'll have this very quickly.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
Schematics are small blue devices scattered throughout the game that, if taken to a store, unlock upgrades for your rig, new items, and new weapons. It's not that hard to collect 8 of them, though the fact that they take up a whole item slot until you can get them to a store could be problematic. I suggest just looking in the dark corners of the game as they're usually hidden.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 11th 2011
A simple trophy to obtain, actually. It doesn't really matter what type of items they are, just as long as 25 items are in your safe at any given time. The safe is located in the store. Just go over your items and select the 'Move' option. I would suggest putting spare ammo in there to get the trophy.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
The Force Gun is a popular weapon in this game that serves the same role as a shotgun would in many other shooter games. To get this trophy, it is suggested you wait until slashers are near you, then fire off a Force Gun round. This should knock them back, if not rip off their limbs in the process. Simply and effective if you can get close enough, so getting this trophy won't be hard in the least.
Ragdoll Check Force an enemy into a Gravity Panel 5 times.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
Gravity Panels are glowing sections of the floor that have been damaged through one means or the other. They can be characterized by throwing small debris up into the air, along with anything else that walks passes over them. Simply position yourself on one side of the Gravity Panel, and your opponent on the other. 8 out of 10 times they will walk through the panel and not try to walk around it. Do it 5 times, and the trophy is yours.

Logs are in either text form or voice recording form. They are messages left behind by the crew of the Ishimura for the player to find and collect. It doesn't matter whether you play/read the logs, as long as you collect and put them in your inventory. Once 75 are collected, the trophy is yours.

From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
It's actually not all that hard to dismember 500 limbs in this game. It can actually be done within one playthrough if you kill just about every enemy that crosses your path in the game. For most enemies, the Pulse Rifle, Plasma Cutter, or Ripper will do just fine. Take out the legs, then the arms. Simple as that. Most enemies have to lose 2 to 3 limbs before they're taken down for good. So, you're looking at about 200 enemy kills.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
You can find the Peng Treasure on the 11th chapter of Dead Space; Alternate Solutions. Eventually, you will be pushed back into the docking bay where you first entered the Ishimura from. Simply walk down the same lane you first landed on until you get to the spot where the Kelleon used to be. Look off to your right and down into the pit where ships would usually sit. There should be a small statue on trophy is yours.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
The Plasma Cutter is also the first weapon you'll receive in the game. Simply start chopping off the legs first, then the arms. You should have racked up both 30 kills and the trophy by the end of the second chapter if you stuck strictly to the Plasma Cutter.
True Believer Complete Chapter 5 on any difficulty setting.

Zero-G Basketball game can be found in chapter 10 of this game, right where you had to collect one of the disks for the shuttle. Simply start the game and start shooting balls with your Kinesis. To get to Level 6 is harder than it sounds. Only advice is to practice a few times.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
This might take you at least 2 playthroughs of the game to complete, actually. Each enemy needs to lose 2 - 3 limbs before it dies. You can sever around 500 per game. Just start a New Game + and you should be able to rack up this trophy by the end.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
This might actually take some time, and a lot of your credits. You'll need to go through the game and find all of the schematics for weapons. I suggest finding an online guide to get every single one. Once you have all the items in the store, you'll have to start buying them. Granted they're not all THAT expensive, but will still take a bite out of your wallet. Just stick the ones you don't want in your safe seeing as you only have 4 weapon slots.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
This would be a hard trophy to get. One even I haven't obtained. You'll need to collect just about every log in the game, so it's highly suggested you find an online guide showing their location. Logs are in either text or voice form - Messages left behind by the crew of the Ishimura. Doesn't matter if you play/read them or not, just that you have them in your inventory.
Survivor Complete the game on any difficulty setting.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
This really isn't a hard trophy to get at all. The only thing you'll need to do is go through all 12 of the chapters in this game on easy difficulty. You could probably knock it out in 10 hours of play. Just remember, conserve ammo and don't get hit. Carry plenty of health packs and you'll do just fine.
Epic Tier 3 Engineer Complete the game on the hardest difficulty setting.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
To unlock the hardest difficulty, which would be impossible mode, you'll need to fist play through the game and beat it on normal difficulty or harder. Once done, start a new game on Impossible difficulty and go all the way through it. They biggest key is to not rush. If you rush, you have a good chance of dying from the Necromorphs that pop out of nowhere. If at all possible, use your Kinesis to fire off objects at enemies. That will bring down their health and help you conserve a ton of ammo.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
You'll first need to collect all schematics for the weapons, purchase them from the store, obtain hundreds of nodes, and individually upgrade each weapon at the bench. You'll need to start New Game + a few times, as your biggest limiting factor will be obtaining enough credits to purchase the required nodes.
One Gun Beat the game using only the Plasma Cutter.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
It is highly suggested that you not attempt this trophy on any higher than the easiest difficulty. You are still allowed to buy other weapons, but as soon as you fire something aside form the Plasma Cutter in the game playthrough, the trophy is cut off. Aim for the legs, then the arms. Best way to kill.
From CRAZY CHEATS | Jan 6th 2011
Doing this on Very Easy is simply ridiculous. You should have no problems. Even the Brutes prove no problem.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011

This trophy is just about impossible to avoid getting. Near the mid sections of Chapter 3, you'll encounter your first brute and be required to kill it. Use stasis on it, and wail away on its shoulder joints with either a Ripper or Pulse Rifle. Keep your distance, and run off to the side should it decide to charge you.

Don't Get cocky, kid Survive the ADS Canon with over 50% Shield strength remaining.
From Forgoten_Scars | Mar 12th 2011
The ADS Canon, or better known as the Asteroid Defense System Cannon, is located in the 4th chapter of the game. Shoot all incoming asteroids before they can impact the hull of the Ishimura and the shields should stay well above 50 percent. Pace your shots. If you fire as fast as you can at random, the cannon will stall and need to reload. This could let massive asteroids through that damage your shields.
