Question for Super Mario World

How come when Mario gets hit by an enemy he makes a face with his eyebrows up and his mouth open and he says "Oh mama mia?"

Nintendo decided to make it his death screen I guess.
"Oh, Mammia Mia " Means "Oh dear."
And in this case Oh dear means like he isnt happy with dying.

And every time I do donut plains 4, every time Mario falls into the gap in front of the first Koopa Troopa, if I time it just right, the Koopa Troopa will turn so you will see it's eyes look like it is scared, surprised, & sad.

koopa troopas was never against mario they are just not able to touch without death. troopas were always skittish. in the mario cartoons they would go inside their shell when mario was around but have no reaction to luigi's arrival
