Date of Question: Dec 15 2007 | Question ID: 103105 How do you catch the shark? I read it was on east beach. And how do you build the the radio transmitter? |
The shark can also be found on the 3rd island after you jump down from the Ceremmonial Cliff. I only managed to build the transmitter once and was unsuccessful since then.

You can find sharks by fishing with a bamboo fishing pole from the beach. You might get quite a few other fish before you catch a shark. I was just about to give up on it right when I caught a shark.
You have to get the airplane radio from the airplane jungle (over beside the airplane) and put it in your inventory. After that you must get to the part of the second island with an airplane(i can't quite remember what it was called, just explore everywhere and you'll find it) and there will be a transmitter. Put that in your inventory as well. Once you have done that, you will need to get to the top of the volcano on the third island. When you finally do that, go into your inventory and get out the radio. The radio will have a "repair transmitter" option. Just press that option. Then the radio transmitter (that you just made) will have a "send an SOS" option.

Fish a shark
Craft fishing pole and head to a beach. Sharks are more abundant off the
Shores of Volcano island at night.
Assemble a radio transmitter
Gather radio from plane in Airplane Jungle and transmitter from other plane
In South River Jungle. Take radio out of inventory, set down and then turn
It on. Scroll up on radio menu and you should see repair transmitter.
