Can anyone tell me how to beat the plesioth in the quest "master of the giant lake"HR2

Try using a eager cleaver,or any thunder attri weapon like a sonic bow.As for the strategy,you have to find out yourself.Once you have the eager cleaver anyway,it's easy meat.
Try a heavy bowgun, when the plesioth dives, stand near the waters edge just off to one side of where it went under, it pops up and blasts the shore with water, if you're near one of it's wings, the attack will miss and you can continue to shoot.
When the fin on it's back goes down, it's almost dead, throw sonic bombs over the monster to force it out of the water, then you can capture or kill it, don't shoot it when it's fin is down while it's in the water because if it dies in the water you can't carve or capture the plesioth.
