a trouble some pair

I'm up to the urgent quest to beat rathalos and rathian and I'm not sure what to bring and what weapon to use... I've beaten both quests in the guild seen as I'm hr1 so are they harder for village cheif ar easyer? Thx in advance

For Cheif Quests theyre easier than Guild Quests but the Chief Quests get gradually harder as do the Guild Quests. To beat the Rathalos and rathian easy bring a dragon weapon if you don't have one bring a thunder, and if both aren't available try and bring a water weapon. High Defence is recommended so you will live longer if they both end up in one area. If you aren't experienced in fighting two at a time and they're in one area tag one of them and wait till it flies away. Using Flash bombs and both shock & pitfall traps are helpful. If the rathalos flies up go under it till it comes down or you might get poisoned or burned. When the rathain starts to back up you do the same cause it will flip and poison you if youre in range.

Bring a lot of flash bombs,potions,ancient potions,combo books,whetstones,herbs,blue mushrooms,smoke bombs,shock traps,pitfalltraps,and farcaster.

You should bring a ice weapon because they are weak against ice weapons.
