why do monsters in the guild always take longer to kill?

This has puzzled me all the time while playeing the game and I would just like to know if quests against monsters in the guild are designed to take longer?? Any info would be good. Thsnks to anyone who answers.

Well my guess is that the guild quests are to test your actual skill and the ones from the chief are just to go along with the story. If there even is one???

Elder quests are like training quests for you to get used in fighting the monsters while guild quests are for raising your rank and guild monsters are a lot tougher than elder quests

Ok this is an easy answer.....in a guild quest, it adds about half the monsters life on twice so the monster is harder AND it also adds about half of the monsters attack on twice so it can inflict more damage faster .....hope my answer helped!!!!XD ANY ONE WHO REEDS THIS I WILL ALMOST ALWAYSE HAVE AN ANSWER TO A MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM 2 WESHTIN SOOOOO.....ASK MEEEEE!!!
