I'm tryn' to kill khezu with the red stripe(It's a great sword) but it keeps hitting me with the shock blast thingies and the shock charge when it's mad. Can you plz tell me what best sword I can use ( I'm a sword and hammer user) and what stuffs needed to make it. =I

I killed him with a kut-ku bow it's really easy but you wanne kill him with a sword sow eum... Not a red stripe cause it's not sharp enough.
U know what I'm a hammer guy but for big monsters I mostly take a bow cause it's less danger so you won't get hit and you won't get hit then by hi's schovk blast just roll away if he do's the shock charge it helped for me
Definately a long sword. It's a good combination of speed and power it will enable you to avoid his attacks more easily.
The main thing with the khezu is to be patient. Bring lots of bombs as many as you can and if possible a fire weapon e.g. Wyvern blade fall/blood because fire is his weakness.
The bow works but you have to stay in area 3 (mountains) on the ledge and you can sometimes run out of time. Remember.....patience.
If it's white khezu use a fire weapon maybe a rathalos sword or wyvern blade blood, If it's red use a water sword like fin blade. Bowing is easier but takes longer to kill.
Have you tried to wear the protection piercing? It automatically blocks for you, but it doesnt work if you're attacking, rolling, or out of stamina.
Like the other guys said, try and use a bow or bowgun.

Sound stupid it has so low attack and small fire atribute I won like 40 min and the 2nd I kill with wyvern blade fall
