2 Questions

1: Where do I get Novacrystals.

2: Is there a weak spot on Lao, I can beat him but it takes so long a weak spot
would help alot.

I am not sure about the nova crystal but laos weak point I believe is his belly. In monster hunter freedom 1 I used a spear to hit his stomach

You can get Novacrystals from +3 mining in the farm.
The weak spots on the Lao are the head and the belly where it's white. If you're going to use a long or great sword attack the head. If you're going to use a short sword or dual attack the belly.

Hay bro, I had the same problem fingind novacrystals a couple weeks ago and the way to get it is killing a G-rank Gyrups( if I spelled it right) The bird-wyvern thig the ting on it's head the clacks together and confuses you. Theres also a quest on Hr 5 that is the puprle and normal Gyrups. When you kill one you have a higher chance on carving it. Plus the monsters are freakin easy.....unless you just start. But I'm pritty sure you can kill it. I was tryin to get my sperpint blade that required novacrystals. Also I herd that it you break the ting on it's head you can get it as an award. Herd it's better breaking it with a hammer.
