How to get Med Bones?

I know that Kut ku's village quest 2 star give medium monster bones, capturing him might give you a few.

Use sonic bombs on kut ku to stun him, this does put him in rage mode afterwards but if you leave the area and let him calm down you can keep using sonic bombs (rememeber in rage mode he is not effected by the sonic bombs)

To capture hit him till his ears drop (ears are dropped when he hasn't seen you so that does not mean he is weak only when he has seen you and the ears have dropped is he weak) then (as long as he isn't in rage mode) throw a sonic bomb, put a shock trap or pitfall under him then throw two tranquilizer bombs at him

I didnt get any med bones frm capturing him. His easy to kill with giaprey duals. But I found tat that it is possible to get med bones from the herbivore Apceros but at a slim 8% chance. I got it anyway but thnx for helping me out. And hw do you noe if the kut ku is in rage mode? Is it whn fire starts breathing out of his mouth?

The fire tells you he is in rage mode also his attacks are faster and he does more damage

You can get Med Bones early on at your level, from carving off an Apceros. They are herbivorous monsters which can be found in Desert region, Area 2 and 7. However, the chance of getting Med Bones off them are abt 18%.. Just do the Gathering Quest. Hope this helps..

One way to get med monster bones is search in the jungle in one of the blue zones. There is a bunch of bones and eggs and Ore's. Its where I get my low ranked needs. :D
