How to I get the blood red horn

When killing Monoblos in 4* quest you have to knock off it's horn and it will appear in the reward screen
There is three ways to get the blood red horn
1. Break the horn of the monoblos then kill or capture monoblos and the horn will be in rewards
2. Breack the horn on the shell of the Daimyo Hermitaur kill or capture and it will be in rewards
3. In the jungle map the Elder will trade a Diablos tail for a blood red horn
NOTE: this is a rare trade most of the time he will give a monoblos shell so only do this if you can't do the first two options
If you got 4* quests, try and get monoblos in the desert then get him in area 7. Theres a big rock in the middle where you will be able to get his horn stuck into when he charges. You have about 5-7 seconds to hack and slash at his head. Do this well about 4 times and you will break his horn.
Then try to capture him as the rewards are usually better when you capture monsters.

Ok, I have been having a problem. I knock that Monoblos' horn off, but when I finally kill it the Blood Red Horn doesn't appear in the item list. It makes no sense to me. When I did the same to the White 'Blos I get two horns. Wtf?! Any help on getting the Red Horn? I tried the Hermitaurs and didn't get a Red Horn..... Thanks for the help. :D
what i do is just use LBB 's when monoblos has got his horn in the wall on his head, and after the 4 bombs from 2 traps or being on the wall 2 times, his horn is blown off his head and then just burn him. =) easy.
Well in the desert when you start, there is a well. Jump in this well you will go in a blue zone. Go to the left of your view make sure that there is a Big block of sand in the middle of thee zone and that there is water. When the monoblos or diablos is running towords you make sure you're infront of the big block and before he gets to hit you jump away and it's horn will get stuck. Most of the time it crys to so Extra Help right? I Hope this Was helpful
