Ok firstly you will need good armour 12 or higher with fire res if possible second if you must use a sword and shelid use a death prize because if you hit a monster enough it gets paralysed for about 20/30 secs or use a great sword I used a silverfangserpent blade but any thing with around that attack strength will do and last bring flash bombs pitfall traps and the stuff to make pitfall traps and aim for the head and tail

I use a flashbomb against him and while he is stuned put 2 large barrel bombs down by his feet and then detonate it with a small b bomb. If you have time put 1 more down and detonate it. Then hack at his legs and try not to come out. Bring potions, mega potions if you can , also herbs and blue mushrooms if you think youll need them that bad. When t limps itl fly of to area 4, walk a few steps, then fly of to it's nest in area 5. Get in there a soon as possible and take out all the velociprey. After about 10-30 hits hell die.
