How To Kill Yian Kut-Ku

How!!! Ive tried loads of times and it doesnt work I use a Bone Hammer+ I'm trying to get Cyclo hammer but can't find med Monster Bone and I always lose agains the Yian Kut-Ku? I just get stuck

Try upgrading the the iron hammer up some check the weapon trees on the walkthroughs for the best route,also try and remember the Kut-Kus moves so you know how to react to them.If you want combine screamers with gun powder to get sonic bombs,they will stun him for a moment but then enrage him(smoke coems out of mouth and gains attack+speed bonuses)small barrel bombs will have same effect as sonic bombs. Sonic bombs and smalol barrel bombs wont have any effect after he gets enraged.

Well restart your game.you should have a better starting weapon.my suggestion is sell all of your weapons then create bone blade then upgrade it to bone blade+ finally upgrade it to vile serpentblade then upgrade it to great serpentblade.you should be able to get the lightcrystal from mining in kokoto farm.just try and try until you get it.oh the great serpentblade has a long green sharpness.or try upgrading iron sword to iron sword+ upgrade it to hunters dagger then hunters dagger + finally upgade it to assasins dagger don't use sonic bombs against him because he will just be stronger.gud luck.oh when you are using a great sword just stay under him then use this combo triangle+circle + circle you should be able to kill him.

Another way to get in alot of damage on him is to stun him with a flash bomb or sonic bomb then lay 2 large barrel bombs at his feet and then a small barrel bomb to blast him it's a quick way for alot of damage.

Another good way is get a good gun and ice bullets(cause ice/water is its weakness)and stand on a ledge,throw a flash bomb and fire the hell out of him untill he DIES!!!! i did it and it worked like a charm....

just stay under him with grt serpent blade and use ur flash bombs from the velocodrome quest you CAN keep those

Never, and I repeat NEVER, use bowgun unless you are really skilled. I have killed it with bowgun but it took a LOT of pierce and crags, not to mention the expensive cluster shot. What you should do if you are a lance user is to get spiked spear, and that weapon has wonderful green sharpness. A great sword user should do as jchunterX says. A SnS user should get assassin's blade or deathprize(genprey weapon)and get that one med monster bone from liver of legend. Para and hit like crazy. Monster fluid from poison smoking vespoids. Hammer should go with highest sharpness, since damage will not matter much. Dual swords(if you ever got one) strategy is to demonize, demon dance, undemon, run to recharge, then demon combo again. Flash bombs are very highly recommended. An easy way to get them is to do the velocidrome quest, which supplies you with four.

No hammers aloso work against yian kut ku but it only takes a lot of time

I killed him 73 times some of them are with a bone shooter but now I use a desert storm and you get a deset storm by killing the cepehadrome

1.find him and use piant ball on him
2.use a sonic bomb him
3.plant two large barals then a mini by his by his feet while stuned
4.smash the shit out of him
5.plant pitfall trap stand in the middle of it and have him step in it
6. Do step 4
7. And use what ever is left

Ps fash bomb only woke in front not sides

I know fastest fay to kill that ass .....
Use heavy bowgun ( the noremall bow gun you get from the start ) buy crags , poisons , and other thats worthy go to sector 8 then g out but you must lure that kut-ku tho the umm.... Near sector 8 then usepellet level 1 infinity ammo untill it's umbrella ( on it's head :P )broken afther it sshoots all you're crags if kut-ku havent died yet shoot with poisons I do it today , I was angry can't kill it I lose like 2000z for the contract fee,I'm angry and buy all thesse bullets ( mod level : 5 heavy bowgun is recomended ) thesse all I did I was trampled 4 times with his tail ......

Note:
Using melee doesnt give more chance to win , unless you where skilled at this game , if you wont lose much money do this thing
