Question for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

I Can't Meld Commands anymore.:( I've tried tossing out/Selling some of my extra commands I no longer need, But I seem to only have a limited supply of Command Melding. Also, Do you have to use a Synthesis Crystal when melding, or can you meld without one?

I only have 1 more Ability to max out, but I can't meld the required commands to get it.

Ex: I need to get one more spot filled up for the "Item Boost" Ability, and the only Commands I know of that I can use to get it are Blizzard related commands plus the "Soothing Crystal, but I can't create anymore commands.

NOTE: I've Maxed out the required commands needed to create the required Ability, but it won't let me meld them.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need to lvl the comand up to max and have it's counter-part
