Does the character who looks like roxas have anything to do with

I've had a look at the characters and noticed that ventus looks exactly like roxas but he has a metalish type thingy on one side of his clothes. Also, in 358/2 days xigbar looks at xion and sees ventus with his metal thingy on.

yes it does since ventus and roxas are actually the same person remember roxas was able to feel in 358 days which meens he wasnt a full nobody he was sharing a heart with sora so it seemed like roxas was soras nobody youll figure it all out in birth by sleep so just wait

The reason xigbar sees xion as ventus is coz terra fought xigbar and he saw ventus later on.

Its actually a big spoiler... i think.
Its not confirmed but its a theory.
Ventus is pure goodness; Vanitas is almost pure evil. Somehow these two beings were the same: sorta of like an odd dr. jekyll / mr. hyde deal.
Anyways, Ventus looks like Roxas because part of Ventus' heart or spirit merges with little Sora's heart. So Sora's nobody (Roxas) takes the form of Ventus's shape. I wish i were sure, but I am on final level for Ventus' story arc, so I will find out soon

well,i dnt wnt 2 be a spoiler but...in the final ep. aqua created castle oblivion and left ven to eternal sleep,,,part of sora's heart was ventus and when sora turned into a heartless(then turn human again) ventus took shape of roxas(nobody of sora),,then sora's heart created namine (a nobody of kairi's thought's and feelings in the heart of sora) but while creating namine,part of the castle oblivion was taken and thats the white mansion of kh2,,roxas then was prt of the organization XII with terra a.k.a xehanort and planned to create kingdom hearts again but sora's heart leaked which is part of ventus and created a new heart which is xion (it was tooked shaped by ven and aqua) and remembered about ven,,,if u finished the bonus fight in kh re-chain of memories u will see ventus

Okay- Ventus doesn't look like Roxas, Roxas looks like Ven. Because Ven was before Roxas. While Ven is sleeping in merged his heart into Sora's, after Sora opened his heart. When Sora became a Heartless, it wasn't for long, instead of taking Sora's form, Roxas took Ventus' because of Ventus' heart inside Sora. Oh- and the person who said something about Xion from 358/2 She is actually a being made from Sora's memories of Kairi
