Mist in the lake

I have already talked to the hermit, gotten the forest crest, but why isnt the mist in the lake gone? And what do I do with the forest crest? Also what about the orrange jewels? I cannot find the 3rd N 4th ones

i think you should go see the mermaid, it will help you clear the mist. it's somewhere beside the hermit's house

You should go left all the way until you reach a river and it is a little misty go near the lake and the mermaid will come to you

Go to Mermaid Lake, and go to the front of the water. A mermaid should come jumping, and will clear the mist for you.
