how do you kill/defeat the hive queen

I've finished the train chase and I'm in with the hive queen. But someone told me to get close to her and jump over her beams I've done that but when I get close to spray her she starts stabbing me with her claws no matter how much I spray her and I've just given up!! So please HELP ME!! I WANT TO KILL/DEFEAT HER NOW!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who can/tried to help!

first when makes the pests you kill them whenever shes on the wall you go up to her and spray her heart (at the bottom) you keep on doing that then she dies trust me i beat the game 15 times.
